I'm glad it's coming on sale, but At Last?

err, what about the Impreza WRX and WRX STi, or the Lancer Evolution series, or the GSR before that?

in the same stable, there have been a series of Delta Integrales that still look hot.

it's another in a long line and joins illustrious company. no need to make it sound like it's a first!

I mean in the old day´s every factory had a sport version! Opel Kadett GTE, Escort RS 2000, Talbot Sunbeam, TR7, Fiat, Peugeot and ........go on!
Like Don Jippo told me, everyone could make a top rally car of almost all normal road cars!

there is not much interchangeable between the Abarth road car and the Fiat rally car.

life is more complicated than it used to be in Group G, and you can't run like that anymore. Even Group N cars, which are supposed to be showroom spec, are heavily modified in every area you can imagine, like struts, engines, ecus, gearboxes and chassis rigidity.

i like the idea, but it's a sales and marketing extension of rallying, not an engineering extension.
