In May I believe.

Hopefully some decent bands will make it worth going

Is it called a Big Weekend because that cretinous oaf Moyles will be there? :s

How dare you. Don't you realise that he, along with Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, represents the finest both of the BBC and modern British comedy?

I'm sorry. Along with Graham Norton's new talent show, they make the licence fee worth every penny.

I'm so glad you agree. With Andrew Neil's This Week at the forefront of political humour, times are indeed bright.

I have to say, that programme does make me want to be in politics :p :

This sounds like a possibility for me, so long as I can get from Lancaster Uni to Preston with ease, something I've not yet tried.

Just jump onto the stagecoach 40/41 ;) I think they are every half hour.

If you're driving then it's straight down the A6 through Broughton. I think that the Festival will take place in Moor Park, which is in the north end near the Footie ground.

I have got tickets for the Sunday, not the best of days, but as a mate lives in Preston me and a load of uni mates are going to spend the weekend there, as other people I know got Saturday tickets

I can't wait :D Had a certain someone I wanted to give my second ticket to but she got tickets for the same day anyway so now I have a few people queueing up

I seen some of this on BBCi and I'm not too upset I didn't get tickets. There are too many dull bands like The Fray and Fratellis around for my liking. :(

I got tickets and it was AWESOME! Thank you very much. Great bands, great music, great city.

Jamie T and The Fray were poor, the rest AWESOME. Especially Kasabian.

And then the aftershow party at 53 degrees with Judge Jules et al, bloody amazing. Thank you all.

Did you see Razorlight? Would you recommend seeing them at Leeds Festival? It's between them and Ash.

how did the show go ?

Razorlight were OK, seen them before in Blackpool (cough *scum* cough).

I watched the Gossip whilst Razorlight were on but caught the end. Apparently they were good but lead singer played up to his reputation as a miserable arrogant prat. So don't really know!

hey, johnny borrell is dating kirsten dunst, theres gotta be something good about him to get away with that :p :

The View were pretty amazing yesterday, but the best for me were Maximo Park and Bloc Party at the end.

Also thought that the outdoor DJ stage was pretty good and made for good background music while queueing at the beer tent.

All in all had a good (and fairly cheap, save for the 3.50 crepe) weekend :D
