Can you control the level of HDR bloom in the RBR2010 or 2009 mods or any other HDR mod?
I havent loaded them yet, but am noticing in all the you tube videos that the sky is blown out to white...

While I would like some HDR, I would like to be able to control how strong it is... give a lil bloom, etc but still retain some of the nice colors....is that possible?

Also noticed some plugins ask to use an APP key, which i dont have on my keyboard... anyone know a work around?

Cheers!

It is possible to control HDR effect by editing values in enbseries.ini and rbrdll.cfg. While the game is running it is also possible to change these values using APP key +other keys when using RBRDLL.
Though I don't know how to bind APP key commands to other key. Generally shift-F10 does the same function as APP key but it doesn't work ingame.

Thanks!

Question #1241256 ;)

Is it possible to add potholes and details like that in BTB, is it as simple as tweaking polygons to make dips, etc... would be cool to make some really technical stuff that made you have to avoid parts of the road like that...

Yes it is by using surfaces. You need to create a surface before and after the area then as many inside that as you need to create your lumps and bumps. Brendon has made a video about that kind of thing which you should be able to find on youtube. Try searching for btb surfaces or something or it might be in one of his work in progress videos. I'm not sure.

Do you guys know if its possible to create tunnels, or lets say a hill that you can go through, then the track curves around and goes over the hill? Or can RBR not handle something like that?

What about a bridge with a large wooden enclosure, like a short tunnel?
Ive been imagining a whole load of different, sometimes strange ideas for tracks.

Cheers!

Someone posted a question about tunnels a while ago on the race department forum. I think the answer was that it is possible if you play with the collision settings

I would love for someone to create the molls gap stage in Ireland. That would be sooo awesome

cheers, but can you actually model a hole in terrain and drive through it or can RBR not handle something like that?

If there is an accurate stage map, or at least one accurate enough to relate to google earth it could be done quite easily by drawing a path and importing into BTB. Is it tarmac or gravel?

It looks like a good stage. The interesting thing with the video is that I had just watched the one of Kris Meeke and the old escort looked like it was going quite a bit faster. It looked like a more exciting ride with Colin McRae anyway. Do you know where it starts and finishes?

so i popped open the BTB demo and played with it. cool program!

anyway, played with it and dont see how its possible to put a hole or tunnel through a hill... am i missing something?

id like to be able to build a track with hills or mountains that you can travel through and on top. is it possible?

btw it would be for RBR. is there a difference in the Evo that would allow holes in terrain for rfactor etc?

cheers!
