I hope the others notice this too so we can have a good 2010 season and start with a bumper entry list.

My rally is done. Thought I did very well except with the tarmac tires in Sweden!

Anyone else out there doing this?

Looks like just you and I, PS29 :(

Wasn't to thrilled with my wet tarmac run in Sweden, but was very pleased with my wet mud and wet gravel runs on both surfaces....

This matter will come into play in the opening round of the 2010 CMR2 WRC, although the Monte will be a non points round...

Hopefully when the season comes around there will be more people! Still looking forward to how we compared though - hoping my Swedish practise has paid off!

Not really meant to be a competition, but actually just a glimpse into tire choices for the 2010 Monte.

PS29 led the way in nearly all stages (I nabbed a few in Italy)

So answer the question: if you were madated to do a Sweden snow stage and then a wet Italy stage on only one tire-what tire would you choose?

I'm thinking a wet gravel tire...

Maybe - although for me the best would be a snow tyre as it makes me a lot quicker in Sweden, and only a bit slower on tarmac. I assume your plan for Monte Carlo is set the stages with only one tyre? If so I'd give the choice of tyre to the individual, however they must use the same one for the whole event?

p.s. interesting you were slower with wet mud than dry mud in a storm!

A good point on the snow tire...

I really mucked up some of my driving on the Italy stages... :D

Same - a lot of my stages were ruined by one spin yet were really quick for the rest of it!
