Donington Park has being dropped from next year's British Superbike Championship.The event was scheduled to run from 10-12 September but will now take place at Croft.Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire will now host an extra meeting on 21-23 May as well as its traditional August Bank Holiday slot

Sadly the above does sum it up :(

Donington is broke and in need of a take over to restore the track to its former glory and to rebuild its reputation as one of the best racing circuits in the country.

Shame Castle Combe cant be used for BSB as theres enough events around the rest of the country and with 2 events!

Will be interesting to see if the BTCC keeps Donington on its 2010 calendar much longer.
