This is from Vers who is at the rally:

Man it was fun on stage 3. At least on the place where we were there was so much action. Of the top20 most cars hit the bank in front of us and some drivers hit a big rock that was inside the bank.

Kimi drove nice and cleanly, looked like that he was taking it quite easy.

I have to say that I was quite surprised to see him, we thought that he had retired.

Salo seems still to be the man to beat, really nice speed, it will be interesting to see how Ketomäki manages in Sweden too.

They put extra headlights to Kimi's car and they were installed too high which slowed Kimi down on the 3rd and 4th stage. Yet Räikkönen was the second fastest in the 3rd stage.

They got it fixed by the 5th stage.

Rami Räikkönen blamed Kimi for his own crash because he used Kimi's pace notes from last year.

- It was Kimi's note from last year, left 6. It wasn't left 6. It was a pretty optimistically put left 6, Rami said.

- Kimi can blame himself for the car's condition, he joked.

Rami Räikkönen's Fiat-car rolled over three times.

- I had a speed of 172 km/h, Rami said.

The window from the driver's side was broken and Rami got a cut in his nose. He had to drive a long way without his window in -15 degrees.

- 100 km without a window, Rami said.

Does the car have bad karma when Kimi drove out the same way in Jyskälä?

- Well, let's see how it goes tomorrow, Rami grinned.

Kimi Räikkönen took the blame on himself for driving out during the second stage.

- I heard the note wrong and we drove into the snow bank because of it, Räikkönen admitted to MTV3.

It cost Kimi about half an hour.

- There was a tree, about as thick as a leg, and we went through it. Those things happen. That's why we came here, so that we could screw up everything that can be screwed up and learn from that. So that we wouldn't have to do the same mistakes in the upcoming races, Räikkönen said.

On the dark stage Räikköen had problems with visibility.

- It was difficult because it was snowing so I didn't see well. Our lights were a bit too high.

- On one stage the crossroad went a bit far and we had to back.

Räikkönen has been about one second per kilometer behind Dani Sordo on stages without problems.

- I see it myself, that I pump up quite a lot and hustle this and that but the times are pretty OK. I think it will start to go better. I could probably go faster if I would drive seriously but the main thing is that we could learn all different things. We can destroy this car now, Kimi said.

Well thiskind of forums are more places where everyone can express opinions, and should not been taken too serious.
But I have to say im really dissapointed in our own motorpress during this rally, to sacrifice a good rally and totally ignore real top drivers in favor of a "testdrive" shows very bad judgement. I have always tought our motorpress as high standard, this is the first time ever i actually feel ashame.

- The difference to Dani is now 0,9 seconds per kilometer. It's completely 'Yes'. We can take a little out of that, Lindström said after SS9.

- We know where the difference comes from. Therefore it's a relief. It would be different if you would think yourself that you are going damn fast but still be behind. That would be worrying, Lindström continues.

- We are still setting the car up so Kimi doesn't yet have a 100% confidence in how the car behaves. It affects the way we go into corners. There's some too early brakings when there are shady places because we don't want to do anything stupid. That's how the differences in time easily come from. The note will also improve once we see how fast we can go with a car like this into certain places. We get more experience from that, Lindström said to MTV3.

the battle of kimi and solberg will be interesting this year....i expect solberg of course to be a lot faster but both these kids have a lot to lose reputation wise from their lousy performances so i expect a lot of reports from these two with a load of excuses....lets see who finds the more absurd ones and who is the one to run out cash first....

its good to see that kimi has that personal relations kid to find the excuses for him and occasionally he will use this kid as co-driver i heard....

Well Sweden will be Kimi's 6th rally, ever, so I dont think people are expecting too much from him. He has obviously been hired by Red Bull for PR, not for performance. It would be quite hard for Kimi to run out of cash... :)

So you can relax there will be no problems over his reputation. ;)
