Good but with their Gr.N car they're not going to beat any S2000 ... just some Evo X ^^ maybe xD !

Aren't traditional N4s getting some performance boost in the rules next year? Maybe not enough to close the gap, but...

Couple of interesting videos of N4 vs S2000, the Fabia even pulls away up the hill where you would expect the engine torque to matter more:

Ok, it's a track but....

There where rumours of up to 1,5 sek faster per km as before.
That would be major if you look at the stage results this year some group N would have done fastest stage times!

Ojeda (IRC champion in 2007) is supposed to race next year edition with a Subaru.

I think next year Subarus and Mitsubishis will be closer to S2000 cars with the new 33 mm restrictor.

Mr. Arazim said in an interview that it should be around 0,6-0,8 s/km on fast Czech stages. I guess no reasonable change on twisty Italian or Spanish roads. Anyway Spanis guys used much bigger 36 mm restrictor and weren't faster than S2000 in Asturias...

In the new Vauhdin Maailma(a finnish racing magasine) there's an article that says:

Subaru is coming back to rallying as a manufactorer and not just with group N cars. Reliable sources claim that Subaru will do the IRC this year.

Are they stupid in VM and don't realise that you can do IRC with group N car ( can you do that?) or is there a plan for Subaru S2000.

Probably an error. I doubt after so many years of WRC participation that Subaru would build a car specifically for the IRC. Ruleswise all new wave of S2000/1.6T cars need to be built to WRC specification anyway.

With Bryan Bouffier at the wheels at Monte-Carlo there are fair chances for Subaru to get points ;)

I think that a good chance will be in Agentina, and probably Brazil.
I guess Gabriel Pozzo and Menzi will run Subarus in both rallies, and with less europeans withS2000 machinery and their knoledge of Argentinean stages (not in Brazil) they have may be best chance for a top 5 in the year.

I would not call the Group N impreza 'legendary', especially the new one.
