Since the season is over (admit it, you KNOW JJ already won the title), here's an interview that Larry McReynolds, Kyle Petty and Jimmy Spencer did on the state of NASCAR with The Virginian-Pilot racing reporter Dustin Long. Due to the length, it's a series of blog posts.

I have been reading the interviews by long in our Greensboro paper. They are really good and Kyle and Spencer in particular speak out. They don't hold much back.

Now, for JJ already winning the Championship, BS, he is a long ways from winning it. JJ starts a ways back at martinsville and Stremme starts 4 spots in front of him and Stremme hits everything, so JJ better keep his eyes oen. :D

I think if JJ comes out of Dega and hasnt wrecked or blows an engine he'll be on for the title.

I read some of what was said. I heard Larry and Kyle tap dancing like crazy on Sirius NASCAR radio too, claiming Dustin Long just printed the negative and was misquoting them. BS...they meant what they said, and on some of it, I agree with the idea they are aiming at, if not how they phrased it.
