Evernham is still tied contractually to his old team. Competitors clause and all that.

He said once tho if he came back to a pit box, it would be for Rick Hendrick, but he never said Jeff Gordon. Think of that what you will, but THAT is something interesting.

Jr. needs a dictator on the box who demands input from the driver and makes the call without the driver giving him lip. Pop's Eury could do that, but he doens't know the COT, and I am not 100% Ray does either, BUT Ray is smart enough to figure it out.
