Yeah Yeah he won :D ! Never thought I was going to support him! (even if it are just a few races)

Could not leave the room during the MGP race! What a ripper, pity Rossi couldn't challenge a little more but he wasn't about to throw away the gift Lorenzo gave him by risking a DNF. But I'm not sure that he could have beaten Stoner anyway - think Stoner still had a little more in the tank.

Hayden, what a shame. Might have been good for 5th or even 4th?

How good did Stoner's bike look??? Love that new tail section too.

125s - OMG OMG OMG what a race! I haven't watched many of them this season but that one was incredible. Congratulations to Simon.

Gutted for Bautista in 250 but good to see the title battle is now getting pretty hot!

Arguably the best full day of racing covering all classes that I have seen.

I agree that the livery on Stoner's bike looked great. Really felt sorry for Aoyama being placed 7th as a result of the red flag following Locatelli's spill.

Its funny, this is the first year since GP racing started coverage on commercial TV in Australia that I am not watching. I even had freebies to the track and did not bother to go. This is the first time have have not been to the track in years!

I caught the last 7 laps of the MotoGP and thought it a little ho-hum (huge gaps), but the bikes sliding was awesome.

I am not sure why I have lost the GP passion, but I have. Maybe next year I may be renewed, Simoncelli, Melandri (back on a good bike) and Spies could make it interesting again.

In saying that I can not get enough World, British and Oz Superbike.

I know this is late but meh.

The 125 race was a cracker though the outcome, to me, was sadly inevitable. I initially thought Simon was going to struggle but once he carved his way through and got on Smith's tail, I basically predicted what would happen. He's been a class act this year, Simon but Smiths rise has been very impressive also. Cortese's race was also really good after a poor start. It would have been interesting if he could've got away with Smith and Simon. He's someone who's kinda got under the radar a bit and had something of a breakout season. I kept tabs on Jonas Folger for the race (fastasy league of course!) and he carved his way through to 10th or 11th and towed a pack of riders along with him only to get beatup in the last laps and finish 14th.

The 250 race was a beaut. Aoyama was clearly struggling all weekend but just kept hanging in there and was horribly unlucky the red flag came out when it did. Bautista has had a disappointing season and he really needs to get this crashing out of his system if he is to be anything more than an also-ran. Was spewin for Cluzel who crashed right in front of me from another strong position and got a great view of Alex Debon's first lap messup of the Hayshed. His recovery from dead last was impressive but not nearly as impressive and the very fast Marco Simoncelli.

MotoGP was more of a tense race than an exciting one. Rossi could catch up to Stoner but never enough to be able to even show him a wheel. He was pushing the limit too as evidenced by his big run-wide moment at turn 1 which then messed up Southern Loop for him. Stoner's ride on his sensational looking Australian tribute Ducati was a masterclass of control. If only he was fit all year. Honda will need to produce a pretty good bike next year or Pedrosa will walk as I am sure he is sick of distant 3rd's and 4th's. And then there is poor hapless Nicky Hayden, taken out again by a struggling Jorge Lorenzo. Hopefully next year will see further improvement from the Kentukian and a change of luck.

Incidentally, the best racing I saw from the weekend was the head-to-head battles of 'Mr Superbike' Robbie Phillis on a 1980's GSX1100 against young gun Beau Beaton on an old Vincent in the historic racing. Brilliant!

So many people were asking.. who's out in front on that white bike!! I know of 1 chap who phoned home to his wife to see if she could tell him who it was!! :p

I must say though I didn't really like the paint job on Stoners bike, reminded me of Evil Knevil a bit too much..

Some great racing on the day though.....

I think its become a bit boring with 1 or 2 bikes getting away in front and the rest battle it out. The real racing seems to be from 3rd back these days...

Superbikes is more a "battling" race...
Oz Superbikes are great they need more promoting..
