Congratulations to the 2009 IndyCar Pickems Champion: mkefan

What makes this championship a little more unique is the mkefan led the championship from start to finish. A little Schumacher-esque (BOO! HISS!), but a notable achievement. The engineer in me wants to analyze your entries and see if there is anything to learn.

In other news, I am going to actually stand down as the IndyCar "pickems guy," so we need a few volunteers from which to choose the new pickems boss/victim. Honestly, it is not a difficult job, just one that requires some self-disciplined planning.

Thanks to all! Only secrect was to pick the same 4 drivers in the top 4 all year. Picking positions 5-8 was just luck at times. Looking forward to next year :-).

The 4 of us at the top didn't pass each other at all in the standings the last race, which was very interesting since it was a close race up top.

it was agreat race for the championship (of the pickems I mean)

this was my first time in pickems - and as drewdawg pointed out to me - i should choose drivers that were actually running in the final race as that normally helps to score points. thanks for the heads up dude - although i opened the PM 2 days to late!!

i'll be back next year and i'll take a bit more time to study the card before making my picks!!!!
