Your post is the biggest load of absolute nonsense I have read on this forum - you have a soft spot for Renault? Well you have one somewhere else too!
Did you quote the wrong post? Most people will agree that your posts are the biggest loads of absolute nonsense on the forum.

Saint Devote

In 2006, Jenson qualified FOURTEENTH and raced to finish THIRD.

It was a race where he drove just as Jenson can - that is what we need today! :-]]]

I am very dissappointed to see that :D

Nice to see Bernie wishing Rubens well in the car and accompanying him around the grid, Emerson. Great memories for all those like myself who have been around f1 for a while huh? :-]

there are some big old clouds out there - can see there being some rain at some point before the end, although hot and pretty sunny at the moment

Thats why it pays to be a total "gearhead" because by the time any of these drivers reach f1 we have known who they are for at least several years

Wonder whose neck will be streeeeetched today given that Interlagos is an anti-clockwise track.

such a tough break for Rubens, he cant buy a break :(

great race, congratulations to Button, a champions drive, great overtakes today.

Brilliant drive from Webber, also Vettel and Hamilton, really feel for Rubens, but he didn't have the pace, and he'd already lost the WDC when he got the puncture so it didn't make the difference in the end.

Button may have lost his cool with qually, but he has pulled out some great race saves this second half of the season - so glad he's done it, with a great drive from low down to

Robinho
18th October 2009, 19:50

Nah, I watched this season from a neutral POV since the Turkish GP as it became obvious that Ferrari were going nowhere in normal conditions.
It was just boring, it looked like if the all tried hard no to provide a fight for the championship, plenty of amateurish slip ups on all levels.

Also from a technical POV it was a rather dull season and this even with the introduction of KERS.

OFFICIAL: After much speculation, It turns out Overtaking IS possible in formula 1, as demonstrated by todays grand prix!

superb track action, superb passes, not so superb attempts at passes ie jarno and kimi, mentalism with heikki and his fuel stop, all sorts of action and a new champion is crowned.

Rubens not fast enough really all things considered but also desperately unlucky, kubi great, webber great, vettel and hammy out of nowhere thanks to brilliant strategies and great driving.

well done Brawn and Bunsen as world champs.

great race.

It's funny to read the comments before and during the race now... Button just can't catch a break from some posters on this forum :D Before the race he was too cautious and weak in the head, during it he was "wreckless". Actually he was wreckless since he didn't crash into any other cars, not reckless though :)
What a race though eh. If the FIA decided to have 4 races a year at Interlagos I'd be pretty happy.

A great race. Really enjoyable with plenty of overtaking.

I feel really sorry for Rubens Barrichello, he has no luck at Interlagos. That said Mark Webber fully deserved to win the race today, he was flawless. Robert Kubica also doing very well.

Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel and Jenson Button doing great drives through the field. Button's overtaking earned him the world championship long before Barrichello suffered the puncture.

I was quite impressed by Kamui Kobayashi. He fought well against Jenson Button and did a very good move on Giancarlo Fisichella. However chopping Kazuki Nakajima like was bad and Kobayashi needs to learn to shouldn't be doing that, I think he should be punished for that.

The RBR strategy was poor.
They should have had a longer seconds stint and try to get Lewis, instead of finishing so close behind him.
They also should have used the softer tire compound for that second stint if they already decided to make it that short.

looked to me as if first stop was too slow, maybe a problem. i believe Mclaren got Lewis' strategy just right today, the only reason red bull were beaten by hamilton was because mclarens strategy was oppurtunistic based on his position and situation but it worked and payed off. even iff vettel had gone longer second stint, i still believe hammy would have still been 3rd.

PS everyone: please excuse my headlining I just cant quite believe it just yet!!!

Be nice.

Jenson is never anything but respectful to everyone and is the kewlest driver to his devoted fans.

Whatever disagreements Brawn and Jenson may or may not have over pay is a private matter between them. It should not affect attitudes towards him.

And Jenson is far from being a "crybaby". Not one time during the more difficult second half of the season has he complained about or accused the team in any way.

He has in true Brit grit fashion gotten on with the job and tried the best he could - and he has succeeded.

If you really want to get a good reference to what it is like to go through the endurance and grind of a championship year then read the recent comments by Damon Hill.

I thought it was a compelling race with lots of aggressive moves, particularly early in the race. I'm already starting to think about how awful it will be starting November 2nd--only one more race. Sniff. :(

Been a great season--been a great last THREE seasons, actually.

Congrats to JB and his fans, and particularly to that goofy, nasty, incorrigible Saint Devote. :D

At least Jenson fought all race long, unlike my guy, who went down with a whimper.

:D ahem!

Don't be hard on the driver you support - its a very tough sport. Always be understanding with them.

I agree with you that the thought of one more race to go only - sniff! And to make it even worse there is not even testing allowed before January.

I would love insightful comments from an ex team owner or ex-driver. I just don't get them from those two jokers.

On Speed I get to listen to David Hobbs, Steve Machett, and Peter Windsor plus before every race I get a technical piece on F1 cars. This year Speed also gave the viewers a very nice 30 minutes on Ferrari.

What does the BBC give you but typical British crap about how great British drivers are or how awful British drivers are

Speed is CRAP! - as Jenson drove into parc ferme went to an insert about Jenson. So we missed virtually everything.

Did we even get to hear Jenson? No.
Did they provide interviews with or even show much from the Brawn garage? No.
Did we get to hear from John Button? No.

Speed sucked big time [again] and to make it worse - they cut to ad breaks almost EVERYTIME there are pit stops.

Also, the Speed channel crew are biased against Button compared to their excitement eveytime Hamilton even takes a breath!!

I would much prefer no ads and the comments of Brundle, Coulthard and Jordan. Gosh how awful!!!

The BBC coverage has only just finished, about - what? - an hour and a half after the race. Does any other broadcaster show that kind of committment?

Too many commercials, America is the richest country in the world, surely they can show something without going to a commercial break twenty times!?

RTL did when MS was with Ferrari and I was watching races on their channel, not sure about it now.

No penalties for Trulli or Sutil for their crash, nor for Heikki and McLaren for the pitlane incident.

I think Switzerland has the highest per capita, not the USA - that aside.

My point is I would prefer a pay-per-view option, maybe able to get BBC coverage.

Also, the problem is that Speed constantly break away when pitstops will occur for example. That is so annoying - although today cutting away to a silly insert about Jenson and then have a long stream of ads as the drivers were pulling into parc ferme just took the goddamn cake.

By the time it returned the drivers were on the podium and it was as if Jenson had not just won the championship and the commentators of course could barely find good things to say about Jens.

God I hate Speed channel!

Other than f1 you just cannot imagine the unintelligent kind of viewer it caters to - like the rest of commercial tv in the United States which I never watch anyway.

If it's GDP per capita than it's Luxembourg at the top.

A great race. Really enjoyable with plenty of overtaking.

I feel really sorry for Rubens Barrichello, he has no luck at Interlagos. That said Mark Webber fully deserved to win the race today, he was flawless. Robert Kubica also doing very well.

.
what there was actucally a race winner? Between the BBC & the forums you wouldnt of thought so

sure bbc were going nuts over button but you think it wouldnt of hurt to spend 10mins on the race itself at least

It matters not as I am a happy little vegemite right now :D (apart from the rest of the world acting like mark wasnt ever there there) Mark won Brazil, Casey blitzed PI and Holden dominated bathurst......it doesnt get any better than this. :D
