One simple question, because so far I heard only roumors: will be 33 mm restrictor for group N cars allowed in 2010? Any decisions from FIA so far?

Thanks! :)

Yes, it is allowed. You can see it in the rulles on http://www.fia.com.

Only 290hp TMR Impreza from brochure.. In '92/'93 it was 320hp gpN..

There was NO restrictor before 1994 I think.

OMG The FIA actually increasing performance?!!?!
Isn't that one of the seven signs of the apocalypse?

LOL :)
It does look strange, doesn't it? ;) But on a more serious note, how much power will it give? Something like 10 HP? Nobody will even notice...

One millimeter larger restrictor will not change anything in relation N4 cars against S2000. In Spain N4 cars use even 36 mm restrictor and they are still slower against the S2000.
I don't like that N4 cars are so much slower, but the handling and the breakes performance of this two groups are incomparable....

Allowing bigger wheels and brakes few years ago also increased performance of group N cars. Again not enough.

Talking with a pro ecu programmer he told me about 20 bhp more,2-3 kg/torque and about 300-400 rpm wider power band.
Still is not enough though against s2000.

will this do anything about their potentially dangerous low level of sound?
