If you don't want Versus to carry ICS races anymore, what channel would you rather buy time on?
The choices are:
CW
My Network
PBS
SPEED
ESPN Classic
BBC America
TLC
Trinity Broadcasting Network
USA
Spike

Trinity Broadcasting Network.
AOWR needs all the help it can get.

SKY
Or anyone who doesnt broadcast ads every 5 seconds - which basically rules out any North American channel

spike they really promote TNA wrestling and UFC fighting for real, puting the IRL on spike could be a great thing, right now every sunday they just play movies, spike maybe not be a true sports channel, but they promote very well

They did Spike in Champ Car, and look how well THAT worked.
Speed....you get your name out to race fans on a network that all race fans outside of the IRL faithful go to. You start by winning back the people you ticked off, and they are all watching NASCAR and ALMS. Both series are on Speed in either full races or in the associated programming.

at this point i gotta agree with mark...
speed is the logical choice....at least put yourself in front of race fans and gearheads

PBS. They're a non-profit, aren't they? :D

PBS is a great option because they'll stop the race for telethons instead of commercials.

Speed or USA Network seem like decent choices. I think the fans need to give Versus/IRL one more season to get their #### together. Then all options need to be considered if the ratings are still in the toilet. I do think 2010 will be a make or break year for the IRL in general. When I see longtimers like Vitor Meira looking at NASCAR trucks, I really have to wonder about the health of the series.

That would be great, they could throw a red flag to stop the race halfway through and only restart it after they has raised enough money to pay for the race!
In all seriousness though we get IRL on Sky Sports over here which carries the Versus coverage and I honestly think that the quality of the coverage has improved markedly, as I understand it, its a question of the channel not having the profile or access to homes to get the more casual viewer watching to get the bums on seats count up for sponsors. So for a good fit I'd say that Speed is the best place for it, it has a ready made and knowledgeable audience for IRL, though I don't know how this squares with Fox's prominent position as a NASCAR broadcaster, though Murdoch also runs Sky in the UK and their Sports channels carry both NASCAR and IRL so why not in the states too?
