Rallye de Espana, with the wide, sweeping asphalt roads provides
the fastest sealed-surface stages of the season.
Racing driving techniques can pay dividends on the fast asphalt stages
as drivers aim for smooth lines through the turns to maximise their speed.
It's extremely popular with spectators - especially
the Spanish who were weaned on years of success
for double champion and 26-times rally winner Carlos Sainz.

Jimakos-did jso1985 want you to take over now or with the beginning of 2010?

That's ok mate, he asked me to do this rally, in the end if some problem happens I'm still here to help out.

If time allows, I'll have a proper "retirement" in Rally GB though!

Far off our PB-Ford doesn't like these twisty bits.

Beginning to realize I gotta drive the Peugeot and nothing else to do my best..

Homer was really fast in this shakedown and took the first place comfortable.
The only Citroen won all Fords, just bad performance from us guys!!

A clean pass from all the stages in first day!
The strange was that in all of my repairs I had problems with the gearbox.
Fortunately,no other problems so could fix it!
SS8 and SS9 were the best I think for me where I made PB!
Looking forward to day 2 where I'll find some difficulties because of the weather ;)

Rally completed!

Felt comfortable on tarmac since... I can't remember since when!, beat many PM's so we're confident we can take a decent result here

Marcel Haenen
7th October 2009, 08:29
I completed the rally as well.
Day 1 went nearly perfect, approaching our PB's on nearly every stage.
Day 2 was more difficult. I could only select bright, cloudy or rain in the weather selection and therefore had complete wet stages on SS13 and SS14. Beside that we had no real problems and made no major mistakes. We need to win this rally so we can still challenge for the title in Wales. We're keeping our fingers crossed!

Nice use of graphics, jimakos!

NOR will probably show up for the final round to thwart our chances of third in the drivers and teams cup....

9th October 2009, 03:40
Don't forget you could still win the Colin McRae Cup!

Damn! once more I got spanked on tarmac!, lost any chances to the Colin McRae Cup, but I'm still confident I can take a good result on RallyGB and keep 5th on the overall standings and 3rd in the Colin McRae Cup from Jimakos

Nice work Jimakos!
