well done to kris and paul i have to put my hand up that in the past i have been a doubter of kris but im delighted to see he has proved that he had what it takes its not often us irish manage to win major world titles in motorsport but tonight i have to say im proud of Kris and Paul.

Agree and respect with what has been said above and especially the sentiments expressed.
A good day for Irish motorsport, not just on the Italian coast but elsewhere too and a good day overall for our sport.

They have had a steep learning curve on many events, but took it a bit easy, and that payed off !

Fantastic result for the whole team. After the trials and tribulations of recent years it's all come right and proved Colin's support was justified! Nice return on the investment for Peugeot UK, what about a 207 S2000 in the BRC next year?!!!!

Francis, Meeke has been testing C4, C2 etc for years. He set up Loeb's car one year for the Acropolis Rally. He was even quicker than Loeb on a Finnish test last year.
