Finally got down to watch it last night and completely forgot Schumi got a one race suspended ban for his apparant dangerous driving against Hill.

Schumi has been accused of many things but on that day he was driving according as if conforming to today's standards with one move to block into each corner and no blatant weaving across the track.

Hill admitted doesn't mind wheel to wheel racing but found Schumi's standards at fault. Sour grapes of Hill's part?

Damon Hill, in all his time of racing, never disgraced himself. He epitomized self-control and his late father, in my view, the greatest all round driver in history, would have been immensely proud of his world championship winning son.

Sour grapes is not something associated with Damon Hill.

This was the driver, that Schumacher aimed his car at and eliminated from the Australian Grand Prix to then become the f1 champion.

Did we hear or see a morose and vindictive Damon? No.
We saw a man, unfairly beaten, biting his lip, looking disappointed, but with resolve, silently determine that he would move forward and win the title another time.

Damon Hill is not a Michael Schumacher because Damon, is a man, of good principle.

I supported Damon Hill. I liked who he is. I liked Schumacher, until I saw the type of person he is. If there were ever sour grapes to go around it would have been Schumacher's brand.

Schumacher may have the most titles, the most races and so on - but he is a man without principle and on THAT score, Damon is far above him.
