But in general it is a very good and fast car, so i see no problem of them using 207. Although i'm a fan of Skoda :p

You forget Yazeed Al Rajhi in the Middle East Rally Championship.

Team Nupel is running two cars in the Spanish national championship a 911 GT3 in the hands of Vallejo and an EVO X for Xevi Pons, I don't know what their plans are for next year but I guess that means less cars for the Spanish fans....

Hopefully his team will get airtime and interviews.

That is what remains to be seen? What exactly is in it for drivers and sponsors that wasn't with pWRC?

I presume S2000 cars will be banned from pWRC from 2010 onwards and it will revert to traditional N4s?

Nice for Pons...but I hope, that Nupel Team will not end with their project, which is showing one of the most brutal tarmac car winning rallyes-namely Porsche 911 GT3 RS in rally dress is definitely much more attractive than any S2000 car, regardless who is driving S2000....Anyone who has seen GT3 live in action, knows the brutality of 430 horses on the rear axle.

Nupel GT3 is very much different to any other GT3. They use circuit special from Porsche Super Cup. AFAIK they won't use it next year.

But I agree that even N-GT car is very spectacular and has incredible sound (I saw Olaf Dobberkau once myself).

That's why Mirek I'm so sorry as this was probably the only (or very rare) 911 GT3 RS on rally stages....The others are more or less N-variants and are much weaker than Vallejo's car. This is (together wit a top-driver) also the reason that such car won many rally's in front of S2000 cars !
So, happy for Pons :) , but very sad for GT3 RS  !!

Too bad Subaru pulled out of the WRC. His role in the team was very strong, and he spent a lot of time there as Carlos's codriver
