The championship enters it's final stage with the last true gravel event of the season.

The rally will be run with the following format:

Game rally: Australia
Shakedown stage: SS9
Day 1: Single Rally Expert Level
Day 2: Single Rally Intermediate Level

Deadline for time submissions is on Friday 11th 15:59 GMT(I won't have time to publish the times earlier on the week anyway, so let's better move the deadline)

For any questions, ask them here, newcomers always welcome

Have fun and good luck!

Fun stages...

Hoping for no rain, and to maintain Fine Wine's fine pace to net third i the teams championship...

Hope my teammate makes it-Paddy?

Australia is really tough rally!
A lot of speed is the point but you have to be very careful in the corners!
Although,I love gravel so hope for a good run :)

I was pretty fast there, though fast drivers around here
could lower It a bit more... ;)

Brilliant work there from jso1985! Time card form Is out of this world! ;)

It is, indeed, a very thorough and realistic time card.

Hey jso1985-who originally developed the time card?

Perhaps Marcel knows...

The most Impressive thing with all forms ( stage times, overall, time differences e.t.c. )
Is that everything Is calculated automatically...

Even the average speed of each driver , based on his time !

I spend a lot of time in this shakedown and I think it's worthed :)

Yes-it looks as if someone put a great deal of time into calculating formulas and cell values...

Yes, here and well mate  Failing any major catostrophe, I'll be here to stay for the rest of the season too :D

I like the Australian stages but they're quite unforgiving. I'll be taking a cautious approach to the first few stages and hope to keep it away from the trees. I'll push for the points if I get into a good rhythm, otherwise I'll settle for an accident-free run. I might even get some testing in tomorrow. :)

Perhaps Marcel knows...

The original timecard was developed by RallyBasher, the stage-by-stage sheet was originally developed by Studiose(I added average speeds and a previous sort of automated system to calculate overall results), and the tool that gives automated results(although you still need to put the manually into the stage-by-stage sheet) was developed by Marcel Haenen.

Thanks guys none of it could have been possible without your help!

A very un-Tannatlike day 1 :(

Set a PB on SS2, but struggled elsewhere, hitting trees, gates, and running off course. Not really pushing either-may have had some setup issues.

And I'll wager I'm the only one to get rain on these stages-SS5 and SS6.

Let's hope for a better day 2.

Really tough rally this in Australia!!
Gravel mode is very enjoyable so trying for the best times!
Speed is so high that I can't stand run 3 stages in a row without a headache :D

Rally complete! This was a killer one...
Being fast and accurate at the same time, was a challenge!
Day1 was fine, with clear weather and some fast runs-
some times Improved during Day2, where In SS6&SS6 had
some rain Issue :D , so lost some time!

Looking forward to the results!

jso1985, sent you my time card via e-mail... ;)

Lads, I regret to say that my CMR2 copy isn't working on Windows 7 for some reason. Maybe Windows 7 isn't recognising it. When I go to the service-area screen the game keeps crashing to the desktop. Windows doesn't know what the problem is. I've tinkered with the graphics/details settings to no avail. I've also made sure that I'm running the game as the admin, but with fruitless results. I'm working hard on it to get it ready by the deadline so fingers crossed.

Rally finished....good event set a PB using a WRC car on one stage so that was really good. Car felt good and we have a perfect set up for these stages from when we used them before so plenty of confidence to chcuk the car around.

Only mistake was when I upshifted instead of down shifted coming into a tight run but a quick pull of the handbrake sorted that out!!!

A real pity, Paddy as you have shown some real speed lately...

I'm the last who can hand out computer advice-I'm a total idiot in that area..

Perhaps try a post in the Chit Chat area of the forum?

You still have your PS1?

Finished the rally. We did a pretty good rally. No big mistakes, but no perfect driving as well. We got close to some PB's, but were generally a little off the pace. I don't think we can challenge homer on this event, so we will be focussing on out tarmac performance for spain.

I've tried a few tech heads with no results yet. It may be just that Windows 7 isn't fully sorted out yet. I may revert back to XP if I can find my install disc somewhere.
