Hi - We have recently acuired one of the Ex Bastos Escort Cosworths - It is the last Group A car that he used on Boucles De Spa in 1997.

We are looking for pictures as we are restoring the car.

I thought I would have a photo for you, but in 1997 Snijers was already driving Escort WRC in Poland...

Thankyou Raven - That is one slot car I would love to have.

When I first competed on Ypres in 93 Snijers was in one of the early Escort Cosworths. Ever since then I have always loved the cars. I have tried Evo`s Subaru`s but I always come back to an Escort. I also have an ex Ari Vatanen Escort Group A which was originally a Red Bull car.

The engine & gearbox from the group A car were removed after Spa to be fitted to the then new Escort WRC which Snijers used for the rest of the year.
