When did they change that part of the cars?It used to be GT 1 and GT 2.

if thats the case, GT1 died and the Challenge Cup is taking its place for now,

The Group C is for GT3 cars that wish to run along with P1, P2, GT1 & GT2. Effectivey this was done to increase car count and to give the lower funded teams experience. Maybe they can step up next year to a higher class.

GT1 has no entrants right now after Corvette decided to move to GT2. They should show up at Mid-Ohio with 2 cars.
