In a Q and A conducted on themselves (is that "newsturabation") Tost de la Lost has explained the lack of performance in addition to his own incompetence as being
"firstly" "we are the only team never to have run with a double diffuser" as we want to do only one major aero update per season....which will happen before Hungary
" Secondly, apart from the limitations on car development, we also had one driver who did not live up to our expectations."
(in other words, crap driver could not win with the crap car we gave him)
he also discusses how they have saved money by not testing to get better results
