Well, I will try this again. I hope I get no derogatory remarks this time. ;)

I didnt get all my collectibles posted last time. These first pictures are of one of my favorite of all that I didnt post the first time. These are an actual pair of Danica Patrick's racing gloves she used last year in 2008.

What you do with your spare time with those gloves when you're home alone is none of my damn business....

So what am I allowed to say this time starter. Because seriously DF is pretty extreme with his 'passion' isn't he??

No more so than people who collect and treasure things that apply to movie stars, musicians/rock bands and atheletes (used, sweaty, jerseys....ugh!). It's his hobby, let him enjoy it.

Hey, I have a glove from one of Dick Simon's pit crew. I got it from a garbage can at Portland.
I also have a DVD collection of all of Danica's IRL victories in the US

As much stuff as I have, I'm not about to take a cheapshot at DanicaFan for this. I don't care for his fave driver, but I respect him for his passion.

You wanna know what the IRL needs? More fans like him - only following a variety of drivers.

Absolutely Jag.

I have talked to lots of folks that seem to have opinions on this or that, it's not as if it matters as long as there are people like DF that are following along, getting people riled up over nothing.

Some Nascar fans are exclusively Nascar fans and show no interest at all in OpenWheel racing - unless their driver does a sprint car or midget invitational. Complete apathy toward the Indy Cars.

While most Indy fans that I know are hardly exclusive to one type of motorsport.

I fully understand DF. In 2005 I kept a sweaty towel that I previously handed to multiple Dakar winner Cyril Despres when he competed at the Red Bull RoManiacs in my country and drowned his bike on a river crossing. I kept the towel in a small transparent plastic bag for a couple of years before I washed it and put it back in the laundary cycle. It still carried the smell of his after-shave!

Oh, and no, I don't have a fixation on Cyril Despres, I only collect autographs. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g202/gr8link/orn/00.gif

spot on!

I am sure there is someone out there who thinks my somewhat excessive collection of signed autographs and letters from Indy stars up through the mid 1980's is kinda over the top - but to each their own..... I mean come on I have Vern Schuppan, Pete Halsmer, and Chet Fillip..... that's not much better than Danica's gloves.....

lol is that in-car or out-of-car? :D

I praise DF for showing complete loyal dedication and support in his favourite driver, well done that man! :) Proper supporter!

what he's got is exactly the same principle as if you got a signed football shirt or whatever from your favourite team.

I'm not a Danica fan, but I thought her interview this week with Jim Rome was one of her better interviews. He treated her in a more professional manner than the usual talking heads and she gave straightforward answers:

Yea, I'm no fan of DF for this continual Danica praise, it just gets to be too much sometimes, but, for pure loyalty to a driver, I must give him props.

DF, do what you gotta do, it's your life to live.

I havent posted in here for awhile. I have a couple cool items to show. The first pictures are of an actual race program from the 2008 Japan Indy 300 where she won. It's written in Japanese with a few English words in it so I cant read it. ;) I will have this signed when I see her next.

And this is one of Danica's race suits from 2006 when she raced for Rahal Letterman Racing I obtained. Please forgive the bad picture of myself holding up the suit. ;)

Heard from a reliable source that she was a bit*h to work with when she was being sponsored by Argent. Look at me. Even I am talking about a mediocre driver because she has she is perceived by people like you "Danica "fan"" as being some sort of spectactular driver.

They are selling sex to get a crap series off the ground and she is the *hore.

It's like the worst saleman/person in a business getting constantly heaped with praise because they look good.

Crap!!!!!

Danica Fan will need to build a second garage over the winter to house all the stuff he's going to be buying in her new colors, for both Indycar and Nationwide. That's an awful lot of stuff - hope he has big bucks.
