it would be rubbish for bikes, its stop start in F1, and with a chicane at the banking it would make it even worse.

There are few if any quality road tracks in America that could host an event such a MotoGP.

They should extend and develop Barber to make it suitable. Best circuit in the US from what I've seen on Motors TV

what about Miller Motorsports Park. if I'm not mistaken that track was built with motorcycle racing in mind

BTW, a 2nd US GP at indy or any other track would mean a full GP lineup. At the moment its motoGP only because under Californian emissions law, 2 strokes are illegal.

A few American motoGP fans I know are hopping for a 2nd race, no matter where it is, just to get the full lineup.

They can't just hold such a big event anywhere. Most "good" tracks are in the middle of nowhere, and those towns have little to no infrastructure to support all the fans coming in.

and miller motorsports park? who the hell wants to go to friggen utah???

As long as we get to see the full Gp line up, (250's & 125's as well as the 800's), I don't care if they run the race at Disneyland

I agree with John. Any race anywhere in the US is a hell of a lot closer to me than anywhere in Europe or Asia. :-)

Does Fargo have a race track? Because I'm only half a day's drive away.

They can't, Disneyland is in California, no 2 strokes allowed ;) :p

This has already led to some unhappy faces on the F1 forum.

To satisfy MotoGP, they would have to run the track counter-clockwise and remove oval turn one. I think MotoGP would be fine on the current course, but changing it would ruin it for F1.

they are hardly running it on the same weekend...why should it matter :?: and i'd rather not have motoGP in indy(even with the historical thing) ,plenty of other circuits in NA to choose from

I think it's about time that F1 played second fiddle to the bikes for a change

I just found this sketch of the track on autosport, this would suck for either series.

If the AMA can race at Daytona, I don't see why Motogp should have to worry so much about Indy.

I am teaching primary school in China, and my children could do a better job of designing a track

Those chicanes look nearly as stupid as the one they use for bikes in the last corner at Silverstone!

No! No! No!

They would both make crap tracks, and the F1 race worse. MotoGP shouldn't stoop down to that level and run at that track in first place! I'm sure there MUST be a better alternative.
