I know that Motors TV have lost their coverage for the moment, but for those who did see today's race witnessed a thriller. Have to hand it to Jamie Green, Bruno Spengler and Timo Scheider (1, 2, 4 respectively.) These guys kept the battle for 1st place going right to the end. Jamie Green was in third for much of the battle but kept his cool and ended up eventual winner, in an older spec car too! Spengler had tried to get by Scheider (race leader for most part) and was unsuccesful right up to the last handful of laps until he muscled by. Top marks to him for pushing right on the limit despite his brakes beginning to suffer overheating  Scheider himself, ended up a dissapointing 4th after Matthias Ekström put himself back in contention late on, and clinched the final podium slot.

But that three-way battle for the lead was fantastic; it was proper, top notch racing.

I miss Motors TV and DTM. Great combination on a Sunday afternoon. :(

Green is proving more and more, what a big mistake MB made by dumping him into a one-year old car in order to promote Ralf into a new one.

It not always best to have a new car anyway. At least with the 1 year old car you have data from the previous year and can set the car up easier.
