How much horsepower and boost time were they handing out at the end of the last season of Champ Car to actually try and get this sillines make a difference?

Marbles...it WORKED in Champ Car. They got 100hp I believe for 60 seconds.. That only works however on road courses. On an oval..I cant see how it would be viable unless you gave out about 14 minutes worth...

PSP on an oval now that would be a White Knuckle race. I don't know how many would use it but can you see the last lap records would fall for the closest finish at all tracks. Crazy. :D

I beg to differ Mark. I don't recall many, if any, great P2P moments. I remember drivers cancelling out each others P2P moments down the straights. I remember Bourdais only using a few squirts towards the end of races to set lap records. I even recall many of the back markers hardly expending any boost time at all because it was such a futile exercise.

I also remember them doubling the boost time and HP in the last few races. I think the reasoning was twofold. Give P2P its promised glory and secondly, no one involved in the serious had much use for the equipment any longer.
