Easy solution for refueling problems

It's an easy fix. Require any and all refueling to be done BEFORE any tires can be changed, wing angles adjusted ,etc.

For splash and go stops require a 3 second hold starting with after the refueling hose is completely removed.

For tires only stops the hold rule would not apply.

Obviously it would lenghthen pit stops but it would affect everyone pretty much equally.

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

You I think are solving a problem that rarely occurs....if they really wanted to solve the issue, then yes, what you are describing is pretty close to the ALMS rules, but I guess no one sees this as a problem.
