Indy Lights Milwaukee.. where is everybody ?

Yikes, just saw the grid for the Indy Lights event at the Mile. Only 16 starters ? Where is everyone ? I thought Lights had a hugely healthy field this year with some events with the potential to reach 30 cars.

I know Ana Beatrice is injured but I wasn't sure how bad off she was.

What is happening ? Where is everybody ?

Looks like the economy has taken a bite out of the Indy lights

Combo of factors - there's a lot of junked race cars after the Kansas crash-fest, some drivers pulling out and choosing not to run ovals, general lack of resources, or teams that were dependent on those paying that aren't. Milwaukee is always tough on cars, but it seems more this year than others. I'd expect to see the Lights car count hovering around 20 the rest of the way, maybe one or two more, likely one or two less.
