Surprised PT wasn't higher. With both his teammates outpacing him, maybe he was working on something different?

Hard to say, here are his 2 best laps overlaying on Rahal's.

Rahal is very consistent Paul is kinda all over the place.

Mario Moraes is my dark horse pick. He's been putting in a lot of laps and running fast. He's hungry.

I like Mario, but I think he's gonna crash or have something else go wrong. Tracy's been more conservative in practice (or maybe his car's just slower) but I see him finishing ahead of both of this teammates come race day.

Heh, I was wrong on Tracy though, who knew Townsend would be that strong? Mario is typical of a young fast driver that doesn't have the experience and doesn't know he's lacking that experience. In a qualifying setup or even a practice in traffic, he can get really quick lap time. But he's in over his head come racetime. I've see it early this season and all of last. As Dario commented at Long Beach, "He's all arms and elbows". He may well mature into a top driver. But right now he's driving over his limit, particularly at a place like Indy, and I just hope he learns something from this experience and doesn't misplace the blame on the other driver.
