I don't know if NASCAR still does it, but for a while they had an elaborate NASCAR's Hottest Driver contest. It had brackets and rounds like the NCAA tourny.

And just another example that the IRL's fan base is predominately straight men Milka Dunno was leading with 39 percent of the vote. Danica had 34 and Sarah Fisher scored 9 percent. None of the men were more than 2 percent.
