What about Rok Turk ??? I thought he should drive a 207 R3T for the first time on this event ???

No, he will miss Croatia Rally (no enaugh time to prepare the car), but he he will probably start with 207 R3 on Austrian Castrol Rally. ;)

I talk now with Racing Lions, they confirm me that also Di Benedetto will be to Croatia Rally... where is...?

Cricket this is not the final and finished entry ;)

Very nice news,so 8 S2000 on Delta rally,something we couldn't dream of :D

18th May 2009, 18:36
I also read the official press release from Vieffecorse which said that Elwis Chentre will be in Crotia, so let's hope it's true. Thanks for the first entries!

18th May 2009, 18:40
I think that the official entry list will be published tomorrow ;)

Jarek Z

Is there no Travaglia on the entry list? Keep us all informed Urabus!

18th May 2009, 19:19
Is there no Travaglia on the entry list? Keep us all informed Urabus!

I will try my best ;)

No,unfortunately no Travi but Basso is there so it fulfills my need to have at least one "super-fast Italian driver" ;)

There is a possibility to postpone the entry deadline because suddenly there is a lot of interest in the rally ;)

Di Benedetto already sent his application,he is sure to come.Betti is still not sure.

I think that super fast Slovenian Alex Humar and his C2 R2 Max are on the entry but he will not start because he will be driving TRA Rally della Marca.

urabus-denoS2000
18th May 2009, 19:25
Juraj Šebalj prepared a brand new,top spec Evo IX for this rally ;)

There is a short video of him testing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccSfGv8pEdE&feature=channel_page
He says that he will try to match the S2000,but it will be nearly impossible. He
is aiming for 3rd-5th position.

Entry list

It is interesting to look at the really fantastic ERC entries and the really poor Croatian entries.

It is too bad that the constantly falling Croatian championship can't follow the constantly rising ERC...

Ucci
19th May 2009, 14:32
After all, not so bad Entry list.....
Nice surprise for me is Andrea Torlasco, Italian top driver with Clio R3 (last year drove P207 S2000 as a member of a BF-Goodrich Team on San Remo). I hope our driver B.Logar will be a chalenge for him.

urabus-denoS2000

Yep,nice Clio R3 battle with Slavov,Logar,Galic and Torlasco ;)

Jarek Z

Entry list is much better than in Turkey. However, it's a pity there is no Travaglia and Chentre :(

urabus-denoS2000
21st May 2009, 18:25
Chentre won't start,he's entered for TRA Rally della Marca (same weekend)

They say that if had done Rally Valli Pordenonesi better,he would maybe start in Croatia...

I agree,pitty no Travi

Travaglia doesn't have money to start :(

In first stage Todor Slavov had big problems with brakes, but for second run he repair brakes and made good time. He drive only to 7000 rpm, because he is not sure in his engine. But the time is very good - only 5 seconds behind Torlasco who is with uprade engine and brakes - top version of Clio.

What I can say after 3 days of rallying is that Valentin Porcisteanu is crazy ;)

wwbroe
30th May 2009, 13:40
So, not much people following this incredible fight in Croatia? After 12 of 15 stages, there is still nothing that is decided. We have new leader tough, namely Michael Solowow, but he is closely folowed by Fontana (+5"3), Donchev (+19"0) and fourth placed Betti (+30"2). So three stages to go before we will know who is gonna be the winner of this third race for ERC :p

Jarek Z
30th May 2009, 13:51
Donchev wins stage 13, but Solowow loses only 6 seconds and keeps his 13-second lead. Not a good morning for the Italian crews. 2 stages to go!

This Romanian driver Porcisteanu, who is entered in a Pirelli Star Driver competition, is really good in his international debut. He's currently 6th overal!

Officiall news: Croatia Delta Rally is an IRC supporter event, and with new sponsors and money it has very big chances of becoming a part of IRC or WRC ;)

Please not again an ERC event that will be also IRC next year. :( There are already too much events that both have ERC and IRC. In my opinion, the Croatia Delta Rally is good as it is now (despite no fast local Croatian drivers in the 2009 edition, hopefull they will be there next year) and the past years with ERC.

Seems like IRC is trying to catch all the rallies that have ever been in WRC or ERC. Strange.

For the ones who didn't see, on this website you can find a great video from INA Croatia Delta Rally 2007. Full of action, really worth downloading:

The only rule: If there will be money, there will be WRC or IRC soon ;)

Jarek:The fast Croatian drivers won't return until serious changes in the national organization HAKS are changed
