Cant blame them really, with the constant rule changes now putting them at the back of the grid. Maybe they should come back to a stable touring car series like the BTC who know how to make the rules ;)

Boohoo, the FIA are not letting us run away with things :( Seat have had a huge advantage for too long.......

Wasn't it only last week that BMW were whining about the rules in the WTCC? What an utterly messed up championship, if only the regulators could show a little bit of backbone and stop trying to mess with the rules to make all the manufacturers happy.

How can you say SEAT had an advantage? The cars were really only faster at high elevation tracks (the fly aways) and not that much faster anywhere else. They also have more weight over the front tires because of the iron blocks they use in the TDI cars.

I have been watching every round of the Championship and Qualifying since 2007 when the TDI's first came out.

They have BMW won driver's and team championship in '07 but lost manufactures. SEAT won all three last season but that was mainly based not on a performance difference but the fact that they always worked as a single team entry.

BMW made some changes in the off season and few more after the season started. You won't see how well it works until we hit some natural tracks later in the season.

Diesel engines are slow without turbocharging, they were't that much faster and got power taken away. Maybe SEAT is sand bagging as well, but who knows.

The point is, they shouldn't be constantly fooling with the rules....

With BMW and Seat seemingly at loggerheads with each other and the FIA/Touring car bureau I can see the WTCC eventually imploding. Maybe the manufacturers will see well run national championships as a better alternative for their touring car programmes, not to mention cheaper and also probably higher profile in each individual country!

Ho-hum, the FiA strikes again!! What is it with them and ruining Championships?
The original WTCC, WSC, WRC, F1 and now the WTCC again.
Why can't we have a governing body who care about the sport?

What had happened at the start of this season completely stank of FIA trickery and bias, "compensating" Seat's boost at altitude for the first 3 rounds and giving a ludicrously generous 0.4 bar tolerance, 0.4 bar boost pressure is massive on a cap of 2.5 Bar, considering that in real terms is 1.5 bar extra boost over atmospheric pressure it actually means that Seat were aloud to run thier cars with 27% more boost than the regulations are meant to allow. What was really sly is that it took BMW to protest for the details of what had gone on to be known to anyone but Seat and the FIA. I flat out WANT BMW to leave for the DTM, its where they should be anyway and its a series where equality is much more fairly governed and it showcases thier products in a much more suitable way, rather than racing a bunch of cars that cost half and much in the showroom.

It's a stupidly run series. Diesels and petrols can never be truly equal, and the constant rule changing and ballasting doesn't seem to make much difference.

The qualifying is a joke, with all the teams dragging each other down the main straights. Success ballast is hard to understand, something about the average times from the past two races? Officiating is sub-par as shown at Pau last time out.

An overhaul is required pretty quickly imo.
