That's a young 125 front row.

The Simoncelli/Bautista show looks like taking off though Aoyama appears keen to continue to interfere (woohoo!). Chuffed to see Luthi do so well, hopefully carries through to race pace.

It's a shame to see Gibernau's miserable luck continuing. Hopefully he recovers quickly.
Pedrosa pole by 5 thousandths, it's obviously the weekend for close pole positions. The top 4 appears clear now and finally we might get the 4-way tussle for the title that's been expected/hoped for. I'd love to see Pedrosa get up (after Stoner of course). 4 winners from 4 starts would be enjoyable and just what the series needs.

It was a very good qualifying session! Sensation up to the end

Yawn, what a snoozefest. Lorenzo leading by 12 seconds from Melandri. The high point of the race? Melandri closing in on Lorenzo. And then Lorenzo going ahead and ruining it all. I'm gonna shut off the telly before his annoying lorenzo land ritual.

WSBK beats MotoGP by a country mile, in terms of pure racing right now.

Did you not watch the end of the race then X-ecutioner? High point for me was watching Dani close right in and pip Dovi with only a few corners remaining, he really wanted to make a point there.

Agreed Jan. I loved it. Dani rode like a man possessed, incredible commitment. Super-chuffed to see Melandri and Kawasaki on the podium and I found the tactics of when to pull in for the changeover intriguing. It's a shame that we keep getting crappy weather for the GP's. I reckon we're in for some cracking races when we can string some dry races together.

Gutted for Luthi in the 250's. Complete brain fade from Debon in my opinion that cost both of them a podium finish. Kudos to Simincelli though, he was in another class. Bautista did what he had to and brought home solid points.

Real shame for Marquez in the 125's. He looked to be riding a smart race only for Olive to crash in front of him leaving him nowhere to go. Just racing unfortunately. Simon, like Simoncelli, was a cut above in the race but jonas Folger was immensely impressive and is building a reputation as a star for the future that's going to be hard to live up to.

I'm not much of a Pedrosa fan but he got my admiration for that ride, very well done. A shocker for Rossi though. But he has a race like that once a season and at least the monkeys off his back now.

Edwards was impressive in the last 5 laps, just in the wrong part of the field!

But hats off to Lorenzo. At one point he was setting the fastest lap with every lap.

Lorenzo - 65pts
Rossi - 64pts
Stoner - 64pts
Pedrosa - 55pts

Nice...

MotoGP is a better title fight than WSB, just the racing to date hasn't been as good. I expect it to improve.

Had to feel a bit sorry for Dovizioso to have his podium snatched away from him so late.

Oh hell yeah, that was definitely the highlight of the race. Although not very happy about it, since I am a Dovi fan, but desperation really brought out the best in Pedrosa during those last laps.

And fairly often it's at Le Mans that he does it.

It's pretty amazing to think that Hayden was the World Champion in 2006. He's getting decimated more than he was last year.
