He has this distinctive riding style. You can spot him amongst hundred other motorcycle riders.

Anyway, to the point. Is this just an innocent test for giving "feedback" to Preziosi or are Bayliss and Ducati thinking about going for another run in MotoGP? Maybe this is a warning sign to Hayden to get his act together or risk losing his seat to Troy next season?

Surely it can't be just for "feedback". Gibernau also did some "casual testing" last season, and he is now running a Duc in the series. I think for sure Bayliss is giving it a thought. After conquering the WSBK world, he'd surely feel this is something he really wants to achieve.

I don't think he will make a like-Gibernau comeback, he might be back for a single race or so (GP Australia?)

I think any chance of Bayliss racing MotoGP is somewhere between Buckley's and none. The only way he will race, I think, is as an injury induced fill-in for the Aus GP. Even then, he'd really only be interested if he thought he could win. Still, it's good for him to get his riding 'fix' and for Ducati to get some feedback from an elite rider.
