I was looking at the lap chart (http://www.imscdn.com/pdfs/timing_scoring/2009/reports/indycarseries/kansas/indycar-race-lapchart.pdf) http://www.imscdn.com/pdfs/timing_scoring/2009/reports/indycarseries/kansas/indycar-race-lapchart.pdf for Kansas and roughly adding up the plus, green flag improved position, minus = green flag lost position.



Just doing it in my head Helio was like plus 21 and Graham and Danica were like plus 1.

If people were interested I might really count these up, if not, well Q1 is right around the corner ;)

Yes, more please sir!

Is this data available in any sort of machine readble form??? If so I might be willing to take a stab at automating this. These are numbers I have always been interested in seeing but they rarely show up.

They are in PDF, which can be exported, but it is pretty ugly.

I don't have a PDF to Word/Excel converter but I might get one and play with it.
