I'm a big fan of the YouTube, me. I watch episodes of "Friends", the shows of stand-up comics such as Bill Bailey and Dylan Moran, episodes of QI... I listen to music that I like (and sometimes watch the accompanying videos).. There's Queen, there's Creed (with beautiful melodies and mind-numbing lyrics), there's the immortal "Moottoripyörä on moottoripyörä" (eng: "A motor-bike is a motor-bike") by Mika Sundqvist (which I listen to at least three times a day)...

Don't you just love copyright violation? I know I do! :erm: :uhoh:

And then I watch clips from the "The Daily Show" (with one Jon Stewart). From their wonderful website. In full compliance with the law!

So I'm not all bad. ;)

How about you? What would you recommend?

That, by the way, in case you're wondering, is - as far as I understand - a great epic song of a northern tribe known as the "Finns".. ;) :p :

Estonian is funny. For example, in Finnish "maasika" means an aardvark, but in Estonian it means strawberry. So if you buy 1 kg of aardvark on an Estonian market, they will sell you 1 kg of strawberries. That's why we in Finnish have a saying "Älä osta maasikaa säkissä", which literally translated is "You shouldn't buy an aardvark in a bag". It means that you should see the merchandise first before buying it.

This should be the next Finnish contender in the Eurovision singing contest:

"Mansikka" = "maasikas". ;) Also keep in mind that the sound you write as "kk", we write as "k". And the sound you write as "k", we write as "g". More or less.. It's the same with the "p"-s and "t"-s, too.

"Maasika" - really? "Land-pig"?

Unlikely, since he hasn't posted for 8 months on this forum.. Even more surprisingly, he hasn't posted for 9 months on the Estonian Rallifoorum, where he's a moderator.

Hope he's alright!

Found love, perhaps. ;) Or something useful to do in life. :)

In his case, I do believe he was told, and I quote:

"Get out! You are banned from this motorsport society! You, your children and your children's children! For one month."

Another quote which is good during vacation.

“You're only here for a short visit. Don't hurry, don't worry. And be sure to smell the flowers along the way.”
