I really love these stages as it is a real challenge to do a faultless run on them.

After a long delay due to funding issues (and a recent purchase of a PS3!) I haven't been at the last 3 rounds, however I'm back for this. I alteration jso if you don't mind - a change from Ford to Citroen Xsara as the control is far superior in my view.

Shakedown:
2.24.51
2.28.74
2.21.33
2.21.60
and incredibly, a PB of 2.19.67

I hope I can continue with that practice to get a good result - a shame the competition seems lower than the first round. BTW jso, could you post the current standings to see how far I need to catch up? Cheers.

Sure no problem, but if Frozzy runs this rally on a Focus, you will be counted as being on a new team

One thing guys. my computer is getting some maintenance job tomorrow, so I won't be able to work on the results, so for practical reason the deadline has been moved to Thursday 15:59 GMT

Thanks for understanding

I tried mirror option on stages for the first time, so times are very bad, but it was very funny ;) . Like for the first time with CMR2. :D And typically UK weather - heavy rain with storm :D .

Wow!!! How's that time possible?
I've been driving like lunatic (!) and can't get under 2.26.34!!! :bigcry:

I did the rally yesterday and know exactly what do you mean Blade. I did some mirrored stages before. But with no testing now, it was just disaster. I'm allways slower on mirr stages, but with rain, fog and without testing, I was like a blind driver. I made a lot of crashes, excellent job from team crew, to keep the car together. In the result it will be probably one of the worst rallies, what I have done :( Brrrrrr

Thanks jso for the standings, and I'll think of a team name over the next couple of days, unless Frozzy also changes to Xsara.

I just got a new game controller and it really improves the times - I got some PBs down by almost 10 secs.

Rally Complete for PS29:
I felt really confident through the stages - I love the UK ones and have practiced probably too much. Managed 11 PBs throughout the rally - although I have a new gamepad which makes a huge difference IMO. Hoping for a good result as others run into trouble - maybe if I can close in on NOR I'll be happy.

p.s. also no rain whatsoever! So a bit of luck in the mix.

I've finished the rally and sent off my timecard. It was disastrous. This is my first rally since the few opening rounds and its been a long time since I played the PS1/Gamepad combination. Having raced with the Logitech Driving Force Pro wheel and PC version for so long, it was very difficult to adjust over. My times were laughable. I just couldn't control the car comfortably. Hopefully I can settle into this gaming system over the next few rallies and get back on form but its not going to be easy, short-term at least. :(

Just sending my timecard in...close call almost didn't have time to get this done even with the extra day!!! Good event - love these stages so much fun even though they're tricky as hell.

When will we get the results - not rushing but I'm out tomorrow so I wonder if I should look out tonight?

hey guys, me showing up.

as I somehow expected the maintenance job of my PC turned into a whole re-installing of everything due a huge amounts of pesky viruses and worms...

so internet connection it´s not much of a problem right now due my sister borrowing me he laptop but the software needed for calculating the stage-by-stage results is obviously only installed on my PC(thank god I saved it the installer on my documents)

so results will be available tomorrow if possible.

thanks for your patience

I just nearly got my rally done in time. There was no practice again this time around and that's a real handicap on these stages. Although it was great fun, the times weren't as good as last time on these stages. I hope to have more practice for the next round.

hey guys, another problem arises, there's a problem with Paddy's timecard, he sent me an ".ods" file that I have no clue how to open it, big fault here for me as the file was sent on thursday and checked it today... sorry again this time I messed up big time!

So please Paddy I need you to re-send me your times, be sure you send an excel file or to avoid further problems just write down manually your times and send them via PM, thanks

and thanks everyone for their patience

I got the following timecards without problems:

Tannat
Marcel Haenen
Blade69
Zes
NOR
Dravas76
Homer
PS29

Sorry about that Jso. Linux doesn't automatically associate with Windows programmes, I'm still getting used to it. Anyway, I've sent it as an Excel file now. Let me know if you can open this one ok.
