I told y'all something was in the air...

Gil Martin was Harvick's crew chief in 2002, they won Chicagoland that year. That was also Kevin's worst points finish of his cup career (21st). RCR has always maintained that they had pretty crappy equipment on '02, so it really wasn't a driver/crew chief issue, so we'll see how it goes this time around.

Well, RC had to do something to shake things up. Hopefully it will help.

why he didnt want to do a three way switch including clint/shane is beyond me. does he like clint more? i wonder if this will drive harvick out of rcr after 10'.

Clint is 4th in the points. They wont mess with that.

Harvick and Burton have sucked this year as has Mears. I think there are a lot of little niggling issues at RCR and RC isn't letting the season just float away, he is trying to make something happen while the Chase is still possible.

thank god, I had enough of Todd,

but Gil and clint worked great together in the 07. Shane and Harvick together would be like what they did in the 2006 NBS season

i think the 33 will need a new cc the next few races after richmond. rc hasnt looked at clint's most recent results the last two races. he's been running as bad as harvick, maybe a little better at texas.
