I was wondering how many of you have ever heard of this sport? It is called everything from Marathon Racing in Newzeland to Jetboat Racing in the states. It involves jetboats with motors that put out up to 800 hp. Running them through the riggers of what a river can throw at them. A lot of people have really never heard of this type of racing. People get it confused with sprint boats. The sprints run in a channel these guys run on rivers like the Salmon ,the Rouge, the Trinty. Here is a couple of videos of these races. The boats travel in speeds of 100+ on these coarses. It is a wild ride to race in one I know because I've done it!!! Take a look.

I love the Jet Sprint but any time you have a big block punching along with 800 hp plus in anything, I will give it a watch!
