The current micky mouse format will never draw a bit crowd.
Circuit needs to be much more open..

...........

I saw the last one on December.
It was so boring :o ,most of spectators were on stadium bars than on the tiers.

Gran Canaria was the best location and I think it drawed the biggest crowd too, though, it was more a rallying thing back then. Anyway, those stadium courses are just so dull, doesn't matter where it's hosted.

yeah probably because there aren't enough space in Stadiums.
Also the December climate in Gran Canaria is much more pleasant then in London.

Gran Canaria is really great place for ROC.. I remember great duel between McRae brothers when Colin won but he slowed down when he saw that Alistair went off.. But it all became about the money and why not to sell 50 000 tickets and get that millions..

How many spectators attended ROC at Wembley? It looked like it was nobody there.. Probably caused by the number of seats available there, but still.. Get it out to a rallycross-track or Grand Canaria or something....

Wembley last year was my first race of champions, even though i rember the rall days in Grand Caniria.
I think the stadium format is good, Stade de France was pritty much full, and i bet a great atmosphea. I just dont think it took off in Wembley, it was a little expensive, very bloody cold. And a very slow day. Why the hell do we need to see some guy doing donughts every 20 mins, great maybe twice. And some guy doing endies on a bloody motorbike :o
The racing was still good fun, and even though the stadium was only maybe half full, it was still edge of your seat stuff. But i dont think i would rush back.
My dream would be go back to a rally car format, and use the Roger Clark Super Special, up at silverstone.

Don't think it's longer there - I think it's now a Porsche off road driving centre.

well imo not a very wise decision since the climate of Beijing isnt especially warm in November and also because of that they stick with the stadium format.

I can't see the European drivers fly all the way to China. The ROC was mostly an European event, drivers could drive from home to the event figurly speaking.

It makes them money - much more than in Gran Canaria. Sadly.....
