From Indy Informer:

HVM to Test at Sebring
Drivers Will Split Time in the No. 13 Car

Indianapolis, Indiana (March 25, 2009) – HVM Racing will run private test sessions on March 25 and 26 at Sebring International Raceway in Sebring, Fla., with team driver E.J. Viso and former HVM driver Ryan Hunter-Reay sharing time in the No. 13 PDVSA HVM Racing Honda Dallara. Plans to test Hunter-Reay in a second car were changed when an additional car could not be obtained in time for the test.

“As planned, we are testing in Sebring in preparation for the first two events,” said Keith Wiggins, Team Owner. “We’ll have two great drivers testing for us, and that should give us good feedback to develop a pretty good package for St. Pete and Long Beach.”

The team continues to work with Hunter-Reay while it pursues opportunities to be able to give him a ride for the 2009 season, but no agreement has been reached.

HVM most likely has a back up car for Viso that could be used provided money is there to pay the bills. Deals with other teams for a back up, if needed and available have been done in the past. The IRL needs a good car count at the first event and looking at who tested and who is announced, there are plenty of chassis available. Magic can be done with vinyl to change colors and sponsors. Heck, TG should have a spare car or two.

KVR, Vision, have cars as does Coyne.

Anybody know if the Roth cars have been sold?
Teams like Fisher could also rent a car out with a bond for damages, although I doubt they have a road race package.
TG has to have a least 2 cars just sitting, but he doesn't seem to give a rat's buttinsky about the series
Money would be the question.

No details on this, but on Trackside with Cavin and Kevin tonight Terry Angstadt said he expects RHR to be squared away with a ride by tomorrow. My guess would be HVM, but no further details were mentioned:

Barnhart and Angstadt also went quite in depth on the current situation of the series in 09, both good and bad:
