Just seen the price for Aus tickets.

Family of 4 (2A+2C) is $350 for 4 days including V8's and a concert by The Who.

That's about £168

General Admisiion in the UK for the same is £390!! (with no concert) However, all sold out of course to ticket agencies that will charge £££ more.

What about other countries.

You'd struggle to get a family of 4 to a BTCC meeting for that price, never mind F1 at Silverstone.

It really is a great offer.

How much would you pay over here for tickets to a Who concert?

I'd pay £168 just to see The Who, let alone F1 and V8s

Really? 4 people at adult prices for Oulton park Saturday and Sunday is £116.

£172 for Brands Hatch if you want a grandstand seat. If you're under 12 or don't mind a wet bum then it's cheaper.

Sure but F1 general admission doesn't get you a grandstand seat?

Let's face it, attending any sort of outdoor event in the UK is more expensive than their direct equivalents in mainland Europe.

And apart from staying away(which is like spiteing your own face), I'm not sure what can be done. Still not right though....

Valencia's cheapest tickets cost 195€ each one, and you can't see a thing... In fact, even paying 375€ for a ticket you can't see a thing... An awful experience :(

Overall, it was cheaper for 4 of us to hire a car, pay for a hotel, and go to Spa last year instead of Silverstone.

And much more fun :D
