I don't really think it had anything to do with looking like Big E. I think I saw him with it in the Busch series and I think may have had it when he was running sprints too. I'm guessing it was so people didn't think he was 12 years old running stock cars in Nascar. Or it may be a macho police/Village People thing too...who knows?
