Does seem Luca leaves the door open but when it didnt look like it would happen, surely Fernando could have prevented the impact, although the track was damp so who knows?

The error has been made by both... Badoer opened the door, and Alonso thought he could pass him, but it was only a Badoer's different way to do the turn due to the rain... There's no guilties, or both are guilty, you can choose: ;)

Look up "racing incident" in the dictionary and you will see a picture of this. If it were a race obviously! :P God we really are staved of decent action over the winter!! Roll on F1 2007
