Much more 'Red Bull' branding on the sidepods than all other liveries.

Probably a last hurrah to get the brand value before the team is likely sold into 2010.

As to be expected, car is near-on identical to the RB5.

Toro Rosso STR4 launch

Scuderia Toro Rosso unveiled their 2009 challenger, the STR4, at the Circuit de Catalunya in Spain on Monday morning.

The Ferrari-powered car was shaken down for the first time at Adria in Italy last week, and will join the final Formula One group test of the season that takes place in Barcelona from today.

The car has been produced by Red Bull Technology, so is very similar to the Red Bull Racing RB5 that has impressed so far in early testing.

Toro Rosso were one of the surprises of the 2008 season when their STR3 delivered a number of competitive performances - including when Sebastian Vettel took victory at the Italian Grand Prix.

Team boss Franz Tost has admitted that it will be very tough to repeat those results in 2009.

"The 2008 season was good in terms of our on-track performance, which, it's fair to say, exceeded our expectations, with our biggest ever haul of points, a pole position and a win. It's going to be tough to live up to that this year," he said.

"Therefore our target has to be to leave every race track on a Sunday night, knowing we have done the best job we could. The results will then depend on how everyone else has done."

He is optimistic about the team's new package given Red Bull's strong showings in testing.

"Right from Red Bull Racing's first test in Jerez it appeared that the car was competitive straight away and that Adrian Newey and his team had come up with a very promising package," said Tost. "The car looks good and shows very promising performance."

Vettel has been replaced by Sebastien Buemi for this season, with Sebastian Bourdais being retained for a second campaign.

I swear their nose is even thinner and less well attached than any other.

I have to agree. Looks like a slight breeze would rip that thing right off.
