I'm itching for the season to start now!

Just read in the rally forum that petter solberg has been offered a full time drive in this years LMS and he is thinking about doing Le Mans instead of competing in the Acropolis...

Dont know how true it is but it would be good if he took up the offer...

Oreca set the top times in testing at Paul Ricard.

AMR had a nasty crash, take a look at the photographs...

there were no dervs at the test so we'll have to wait to see how the development of the Lola-Aston Martin has improved it.

Colin Kolles has signed a 23yr old to drive one of his teams R10's!
He's signed Andy Meyrick who last reason was racing in the National class in British F3.
im surprised they would take that risk. its a big jump from an F3 car to an LMP1!

Sadly, he's turned the offer down. Mistake I think - Le Mans is one of Motorsport's Blue Riband events - the WRC isn't, and in it's current mess - it would be better to miss an event - even The Acropolis.

On another point, why are ALMS/LMS events on the same weekend? Madness!!

ALMS raced on Saturday (double-header weekend with IRL racing Sunday), LMS raced on Sunday
