According to VG Petter has been offered a full season in Le Mans series, he is thinking about it, but I think he has decided to miss Acropolis and do the Le Mans 24Hrs.

Amazing is it not ! Maybe we need more cross utilization of drivers for them to become even better at their own game !

Raikkonen has started to rally, and are enjoying that, and maybe he even becomes a better driver from enjoying himself !!

Anyways.. That offer tells a little bit about his capabilities! There are plenty of tarmac specialist in the world, and Petter is the chosen one... Excellent driver and a fantastic personality... Always a winner... :) "Never give up.... It pays up in the end...!"

"Petter beats Loeb". Why this title on the thread? To my knowledge Loeb has already competed twice in the Le Mans 24h race, and in 2006 he actually was part of the team that finished 2nd overall. So Petter hasn`t beaten Loeb in sportscars yet, has he?

To being offerd a drive in a full season of LMS.
Ther has been a lot of specultion about Loeb going to sportscars and I just found it ironic that Petter could be there before Loeb, allthough in the article in VG Petter says its unlikely he takes a full season in LMS.

You have to imagine Loeb has probably had offers in the past few years to do a full season but he is contracted to do the WRC. I believe if Loeb was in the same position Petter is in he would be in a factory Peugeot as of January.

I agree, I would be happy to equal these failures.

His DNF percentage is even higher than I expected!!

Indeed. Podiums and dnf's make up 52% of all his starts. Makes one think about what his results could have been like in a more reliable car.

He goes from one gentleman racer championship to another gentleman racer championship. And I predict that also in the Le Mans Series the professional drivers will beat him.
