Hello-anyone else out there?

Hoping to do a quick shakedown tonight...from memory these stages are very tricky in the wet with the very fast sections then the twisty bits! I've visited the scenery on quite a few occassions in the past.

Brake balance is key to a good set up on those stages...keep it neutral or towards the back (if you're happier with a car turning under braking)

I'm here and will be competing. A minimum of 4th looks possible ;)

We have had a great time in Brasil, and I feel that we could not have done it any better at our current level, and with the time at hand to practice.

tannat
8th March 2009, 13:35
Reeceived JTL's timecard and finished my own rally..

Fwd didn't effect our times too severely-times were very respectable for a WRC..

I plan to work on results immediately once the deadline is met. If an extension is needed please request now....

F.A.R.T. has finished the rally!! The rally didn't go very well, but we are still hoping to get some points, if our competitors haven't bother to travel to Brazil... It felt like we lost too much time with our fwd car. We are considering 4wd cars next round.

Getting the feeling this event will have a low entry...

Tannat, last year i recruited 2 new entries for a single round of the BRC by advertising the championship on the Rallystuff.net simulations forum! This new format might attract new entries.

Rally is done. I had a big fun, driving Fabia S2000 on the gravel roads after a long time again. Dry stages were nice and my confidence in the car pushed some of PBs. I had a little crashes on two of the wet stages, so I need to improve handling on wet surface for the future.

Just finished the rally, still adapting to the PC version, so times weren't much good I think, still I hope I can take a podium.

BTW, Arcade mode sucks!

I think it's a good idea to get some extra stagemiles, but man... that music kills me! :robo:

Very happy with the result!! S1600 cars did amazingly well with those times...I had a quick go on a wet stage and my god it was hellish!!!!

I have that gut feeling that those bloody wet stages cost me the podium...

anyway, still, a great result!

Ramore
12th March 2009, 10:57
I am very happy with my first podium for this season and second best S1600 car in a row. This really boosts my confidence for the rest of the season. And honestly, that was may be my best rally for a long time.

But the championship is really well structured. Keep up the good work Tannat!
