I don't like spiders when they're handsize and hairy. I also don't like snakes very much. I was visiting this zoo once and they had this huge tarantula, I mean bigger than my hand. I couldn't go even near the glass. Does that mean I'm a pussy?

No wonder Finland is in such a mess! :p

I hate spiders and a few other creepy crawlies. I impressed myself yesterday, there was a spider moving along the loungeroom floor and rather than crushing it as I normally do I picked it up with a piece of paper and put it out the window. THat's an achievment for me :mark: I'll jump up on the couch like Tom Cruise if something big enough crawls along the floor :bigcry:

I hate pit bulls, rotweilers, dobermans and any other fuching dog I can't kill with one chicago heel stomp. I also hate crawly stuff and the no 1 is big fat cockroaches !! AFF I was building a house in the desert and had a pet tarantula that would show up - so we fed him crickets. He was pretty cool. Scorpions are bad because if they sting you it can cause agro but I would rather see a scorpion that a freaking cockroach. Snakes are only bad if they rattle or you are in the swamp or Latin America. In Arizona if you play a lot of golf in the summer you will see rattle snakes. But the nice thing about them is you usually get some notice.

The animals I dont like are the ones that threaten me !
I once got chased by a mad bull,when I was about 8 or 9 ,I ran like hell,turned round to see where it was and it pinned me to a hen coupe,its horns either side of my body.Luckily the farmer was on hand ,and with a massive still he knocked hell out of the animal to get me released,BUT i will never forget this incident,and dont ever forget that cows can get very nasty

I like most of the spiders we have in NZ, in particular the really nice orb web spiders but the 'white tail' which came from Aust has a nasty bite so they get despatched. I dislike rams and cockroaches. I like birds especially my resident blackbird pair and harriers and falcons, hedgehogs, cats, dogs, rabbits, well, most animals really. I like possums but don't tell anyone as they are on the government's wanted list along with crows.

I hate spiders of any size above about 3mm.

I'm always wary of big animals like cows and horses but it's not so much that I don't like them as I'm all too aware they could knock me over and kill me.

I don't like hyena's either. Never met one but I just think they look like mangy, nasty creatures who are too lazy to get their own food.

hyenas have had such bad press. Their kills are more than likely nicked by lions.

any way - spiders over 5 mm though slow ones I can cope with. Big beetles I hate with a passion. Rats - yuck yet I love mice.

Not so much because they're dirty animals. Just because theres an overabundance of them. You could say the same thing about dogs in some Aboriginal communities in this country.

As for animals I don't like - I'm not keen on close proximity to spiders, wasps or anything dangerous that I'm unfamiliar with handling.

Rats, spiders and pigeons which are just rats with wings :s
I don't particularily mind rabbits but there's just so freakin' many of them in my neighbourhood and they use our gardens as their buffets :mark:

That's a weird thing. My friend has a pet tarantula and he let it wander around his body. I know it wouldn't bite or sting or whatever the **** they do if you just stay calm. But how can you stay calm with big frigging tarantula on your hand? :confused:

cockroaches, spiders..any size. Dont like Bulls. i was out filling holes after the oil company had finished drilling..got out of the CAT and found myself face to face with a charging bull...

Yes, but they are only dangerous if you are allergic.

CATS!!!!! Can't stand them at all although I did kind of feel sorry for one that I saw get run over before Christmas. My sympathy didn't last long though.

Blackflies, Skitters, Roaches, Cormarants and Brown Recluse Spiders.
I like most birds and have four Cockatiels. They are like 4 two year olds, but pretty smart and all have personalities. The oldest is 18. They are out of their cage a lot of the time but are restricted to one room and yes it is a mess.

I'm not afraid of spiders but I just can't for some reason stand near a bee or a wasp
snakes, those bloody ratlesnakes that I find so often on the countryside near my town

When I was working in PNG, my better half worked for John Lever who ran the crocodile farm in Moresby. John and his friend used to wade in a pond full of small (around 1 metre) crocs. His friend then picked up one of the crocs to show me how crocs have two sets of eyelids. BUT!! as he took his hand off the crocs head (covering the eyes), the croc withdrew his jaws from his hand then clamped the same jaws over the hand. Luckily, John was quick in grabbing the croc around the neck to prevent it from spinning and ripping the guys hand hand. One of the guys five year old twins then asked him "Daddy! did that hurt?"
"Yes ! dear", he replied.

I can safely saw that I don't particularly like crocodiles.

Cat's can scratch, but like people some are friendly and other's aren't. Our cat's have scratched by accident when playing, they can't help having claws, but mostly our cats retract their claws when playing so as not to scratch us. If you've been bitten by a cat, and I mean bitten rather than nipped- like a dog nips when it's playing, it's not friendly and NOT playing with you.

I don`t hate or dislike any animals, rather I just like some animals more than others. I adore cats and dogs (especially st.bernards) out of pets, but out of all animals, I love tigers the most.

I am quite baffled as to why anyone would dislike such creatures as cats or dogs (except if we are talking about big dogs, like rotweilers and dobermans, but even in that case it would be more about fear, than dislike)

I don't dislike St. Bernard's but I really don't see the appeal in them versus other large dogs.
