Celebrating a landmark anniversary, the first forest rally of the new season in Yorkshire run through the little used woods at the top of Sutton Bank. Entries already include Peter Stephenson in his MG Super 2000 car so should be a nice event as usual.

Sadly the event has just been cancelled after the Forestry Commission retracted permission to run the event over safety fears following the recent heavy snow in North Yorkshire...bugger. Feel really sorry for Ripon Motor Club after such a good entry had been assembled in these difficult financial times.
